slowly, slowly…

***pic removed***

slowly, slowly i am starting to get into the holiday spirit…  the fall decorations are all finally down (i think) and the Christmas stuff is slowly starting to emerge.  i put lights on a couple of our bushes in the front of the house and some red bows.  the girls went a little crazy, they were jumping up and down clapping about the little “santa trees”.  i’ve got my christmas pics on the mantle, and last night i popped a bowl of popcorn to string for the tree.  as an adult, there has only been 1 year that i have not had popcorn strung on my tree (last year), it reminds me of my college days and the insane amounts of popcorn that we ate.   i still pop it in the $10 popcorn popper from caldors (circa 1993).  this year the girls got in on the popping action, and i think i’m gonna have to pop some more to string, they put a big dent in what we made last night!

Ah, Caldor. That is where I found my husband. We both worked there, and it was during inventory. I found him on a shelf in housewares…where your popcorn popper came from. LOL I haven’t been in much of a mood to get the Christmas decorations out either. Hopefully that will change after going to the towns Christmas festival tonight.
