7 years ago today…

 the week leading up to my wedding anniversary always brings back such fun memories.  my big sister was in town for the first time in oh….  a long time, and i tried to cram as much yankee fun into her as i could. she didn’t return for another 5.5 years.  we crammed *t h a t  m u c h* into her!  =)  this fun included a trip to nyc to see aida.  i remember very few of the little details, but i remember the train ride down, my wedding photographer calling my cellphone to say he’d been in an accident and he wouldn’t be able to shoot my wedding in 3 days, i remember standing outside the show, watching my sister and my almost-husband horse around teasing each other mercilessly.  (she won.  she usually does). 

since then, hunny and i have been back to the city a handful of times, but this time was the best.  tomorrow we are going to the wedding of a dear friend from college, getting married on our anniversary weekend.  makes me think back even more to our special day and the events that lead up to it…
